What to Feed Dragons Pof Ironman
Introduction [edit | edit source]
As an Ironman, the Grand Exchange cannot be used, and trading between players is strictly limited. All supplies and equipment must therefore be obtained from their original sources, through bossing, gathering skills, and other limited ways. Coins are still needed for many exchanges within Ironman such as for paying instance fees, Managing Miscellania, and buying spirit shards for Summoning. High Level Alchemy is a very useful spell to unlock early for easier access to coins. Runecrafting level of 44 is also useful to create the nature runes required for High Level Alchemy. Although the spell can be used to produce coins, some items are not worth alchemizing and can be sold to general stores.
While coins can be valuable to strive for, quests play a big part in the early game, as many experience rewards allow players to skip multiple levels at once. In addition, quests are needed to unlock exclusive content, such as bosses or skilling methods. A good example for Woodcutting would be the Dragon hatchet from the Dagannoth Kings and the Inferno adze from All Fired Up, the only two level 61 hatchets in the game.
Players should pick up their Leprechaun hat from the Marketplace as soon as they have 100 oddments, as an early tier-2 luck enhancer will prove useful, possibly along with the sunglasses for another 100 oddments for its protection against basilisk and cockatrices similar to the mirror shield.
